yesterday on tv there was a blip about a connection between levaquin and tendon rupture. it said the fda recently added a warning reg this.
anyone heard anything about this from their docs? hope its a coincidence, but i just broke my arm last week-and bruised my wrist tendon severely. i will mention it to the doc-but when this happened i just finished a course of levaquin. again-it could be a coincidence. just creepy though |

Yeah,, They have been saying that for a couple of years now.
I think what you saw on TV is one of those Class Action Law Suits. All Meds have some kind of side affects , Just a matter of are the Good affects worth the Possible risks. The FDA has " Black Labeled " Levaquin. But All Meds have the little info pack with them, Most People don't read them, If they did did, they would find that they all pretty much have Neg as well as Pos affects. I take 10 day Courses of 750 mg of Levaquin about 3-4 times a year with no problems. ------------------------- Brad, Va, 53 / Cf, left lung removed in 91 , and a Father of a Healthy Son,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Glad to Be Here.......
