Courage is not the absence of fear. Rather, it is the judgement of knowing when something is more important than fear. The courageous may not live forever, but the cautious never truly live.

you probably wont believe me when i say this but when i lit the candle for Melissa on Sunday night I asked if there was a spiritual being out there and if there was would they listen to me and grant someone with CF the gift of life with a transplant. I got up this morning and read the post on CF2Chat and i was jumping around my living room with joy. I dont really know Leah but WOW that is the best news i have received in a while i can tell you.

Love to Leah xx

Finally some wonderful news after so much sadness! I'm glad Leah has her new lungs and seems to be doing good. Our thoughts and prayers are with her, her family, the donor's family, and everyone else who got the gift of life from the donor.
