In my many years of Hebrew schooling, tradition was always present. You may have heard Tevya singing about it in Fiddler on the Roof, and my childhood was no exception. One of the greatests traditions and mizvot I was ever exposed to was the Mizvah of Tzedekah, or charity. One person who exempliies this mitzvah on this site is Victoria. Not just charity of her pocketbook, which for some people can be easiest to give, but the charity of her time and love, which can be much harder. Victoria gives of herself even when she doesn't have the emotional energy to give.
Proverbs 31 also teaches us about the virtuous woman, who her husband can trust, who is good with her money, Who opens her mouth with wisdom and kindness, and whose children bless her. Victoria has done all of these things and more, with a husband going to Iraq, and still taking care of her house and family, finding the time to bring her kindness and wisdom to all of us here, her price is indeed above rubies.
Victoria, I know this Pesach will be the last before your husband heads off, and you don't have a seder set to properly celebrate. I hope this helps make it that much more memorable. The tradition of charity and true goodness are show their true colors in your actions.
