Dear CysticFibrosis.com Community, We have had a great response to our SURVEY which will be presented at the Patient Adherence and Engagement Summit in Philly on October 21st. The topic of the talk is "What Pharmas can learn from on-line patient communities". In reviewing the survey, without a doubt, you can teach the Pharmas a LOT! This community is ready to engage and teach the world how patients manage their own health care and are partnering and collaborating with your doctors and centers rather than "taking orders!" I enjoyed reading the comments at the end of the survey. Over half of the respondents commented on how much cysticfibrosis.com has helped them understand and deal with their disease or their child's. 50% of survey-takers say their doctor/center's are willing to recieve information gleaned from the internet. One commenter noted: joined this website a few yrs back, but I only read posts. I am finally adding my comments & questions. It's a good feeling. This is excellent site.
