Dear CysticFibrosis.com Community, The winter here in the Northeast US has been the harshest we've had in a long time, but the earthquake in New Zealand and the political unrest in Africa, Asia and the Middle East give us pause to think about fellow CFers around the world. May you be safe and may all of our leaders work toward peace! Many leaders in CF care will be convening next week, March 10-12th, for the CFLC Continuum of Care Conference at the Westin hotel in Jersey City, NJ. I encourage you to attend this unique conference which features two concurrent educational tracks: one for CF healthcare professionals and one for CF family members. This is the second annual event run by Nick Lombardi, a CF father, through his company the North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC (NACCME). http://www.cflearningcenter.com/presenters The Westin hotel in Jersey City offers a spectacular view of New York City and delicious food. Many attendees last year reported they felt the conference was worthwhile and enlightening. We will be sponsoring again this year and I will be giving a ten-minute talk on the plans we have for cysticfibrosis.com. I also hope to meet and speak with many of the members of our site.
