Dear CysticFibrosis.com Community,

Midsummer is a great time for our gardens here in the northeast. The days are long and the veggies are delicious.

In this issue, we welcome back BeautifulSoul, with her very clever slipper craft. This is a great season to play with our flipflops as they are becoming more and more "decorator". Thanks Amber.

I have spent many hours this year in waiting rooms with my youngest granddaughter and I think you will agree with my blog: Let’s turn this time to better use!

Ennio has been busy keeping up with all the changes on our site and soon we will open our new Foundation. This could not have happened without the help from our own Julie!

I think most of you would agree with Mary Oliver's "Instructions for living a life.

Pay attention.

Be astonished.

Tell about it."

With Education, Support and Hope,

Jeanne Barnett

Amount of fabric needed depends on the size of feet. Small-Medium Child's will take no more than 1/4 yard. Cut the fabric into strips. One inch wide and seven inches long. Double knot strips onto flip flop straps. Push the knots closer together as you move along. Trim the ends if they appear too long. Enjoy and Relax!
